COVID SAFETY MEASURES

It is our intention that everyone involved in Field Of Awakening has the maximum transformational experience possible.

We also want to take all reasonable measures to keep everyone safe during this Covid-19 pandemic.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization.  COVID-19 is extremely contagious.  The virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and/or by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects, and in the air.  People can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease.  Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illness and even death.  The Organizer cannot prevent Participants from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while attending the Field Of Awakening.   Therefore, Participants who attend the Field of Awakening may be exposing themselves to and/or increasing their risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

As such, we are implementing the following protocol for everyone involved at Sun Valley Field of Awakening:

All persons will be asked to:

  • Provide a valid certificate of negative Covid-19 test (taken 72 hours prior) at registration and before admission into Argyos Performing Arts Center to Field of Awakening on September 17th.  Self-administered home kit test results will NOT be accepted.
  • Have their temperature (via medical grade infrared thermometers) taken by our staff each day prior to admission into the Argyos. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher will have their temperature retaken after a few moments. If their temperature remains elevated or if they have symptoms of illness, they will be asked to leave the Argyos and seek medical attention, to enable us to keep everyone safe and healthy.
  • At this time, in accordance with Argyos Performing Arts Center requirements, everyone must wear face masks while inside the Arygos Performing Arts Center.

Throughout the 4-day Field of Awakening at Argyos, the following will be provided:

  • Disposal masks and hand sanitizer
  • A state of the art HEPA air filtration/purification system throughout the theater space

We are not taking this decision lightly, have spent extensive time exploring options with a medical team and have come up with this current protocol with everyone’s safety in mind, including the Sun Valley community.

O&O Academy/Ekam and Field of Awakening are founded on the tenet of INTERCONNECTION. The survival and evolvement of our humanity depends on this state of interconnection.  Having the FOA event at a time such as this requires this sense of interconnection, responsibility, flexibility, and willingness.

Keeping this in mind and heart, we kindly remind all participants that we are creating a microcosm and a family, as we gather for the purpose of healing, transformation, and human evolution for the 4 days of Field of Awakening.

It is imperative for both the safety and the success of the FOA, that participant put aside differences regarding Covid-19, masking and vaccinations, and focus on the greater purpose of protecting each other, our event and the greater Sun Valley community. As we take great care and responsibility for this and each other, we will treasure our time and the transformative experiences that await us.
